4. Legal bases for processing (GDPR)

As a Dutch company processing the personal data of EU/Dutch residents, we rely on the following legal bases under Article 6 GDPR:

  • Contractual necessity (Art. 6(1)(b)): to process and fulfil your order, arrange delivery, and handle returns or refunds.

6. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • Wix Payments, to process your payment, in accordance with Wix's own privacy policy, available at https://www.wix.com/about/privacy.

  • Our website platform (Wix.com), which hosts our online store and processes data necessary for the store to function.

  • Analytics and advertising partners (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta, TikTok), solely where you have consented to non-essential cookies, to measure site performance and deliver relevant advertising.

  • Delivery/logistics providers, to the extent necessary to ship your order to you.

  • Legal and regulatory authorities, where required by Dutch or EU law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business.

These providers are contractually required (via data processing agreements, where applicable) to handle your personal data only on our instructions and to protect it in line with GDPR.

7. International data transfers

Some of our service providers (including Wix and certain analytics/advertising partners) may process personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including in the United States.

Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or an equivalent adequacy mechanism, consistent with Chapter V of the GDPR.

8. Data retention

  • Order and transaction data: retained for 7 years to comply with Dutch tax and bookkeeping law (fiscale bewaarplicht, Art. 52 AWR).

  • Customer support correspondence: retained for as long as necessary to resolve your query and for a reasonable period afterward, typically no longer than 2 years.

  • Analytics and advertising cookie data: retained according to the individual cookie's duration (see Section 9) or until you withdraw consent, whichever is earlier.

We delete or anonymize personal data once it is no longer needed for the purposes described, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

9. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Essential functions: shopping cart, checkout, and security — these do not require consent as they are necessary for the Services to work.

  • Analytics: to understand how visitors use our store (e.g., Google Analytics) — requires your consent.

  • Advertising/retargeting: to show you relevant ads on other platforms and measure ad performance (e.g., Meta, TikTok pixels) — requires your consent.

You will be asked to accept or reject non-essential cookies when you first visit our site. You can change your preferences at any time through our cookie settings tool, or by adjusting your browser settings. Rejecting non-essential cookies will not affect your ability to browse or purchase from our store.

As a data subject under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.

  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

  • Erase your personal data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention obligations (e.g., tax records).

  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling for advertising purposes.

  • Withdraw consent at any time for consent-based processing (e.g., cookies), without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
